160" to 200" + B&C Class Whitetail Hunting
The Diamond D Whitetail Ranch is a premier 3,000 acre
Hunting Preserve located just 30 miles south of Abilene,
Texas. A top managed breeding facility has allowed us to
improve upon the native genetics of our deer herd resulting
in legitimate 160"-200" plus B&C Bucks for our hunting clients. Our
ranch and it's topography is conducive to some of the best
hunting and largest whitetails in the state. The deer are in
deep canyons, along rim rock and some of the roughest
terrain around our part of the country. Minimum hunting
pressure on the deer and an intense year round supplemental
feeding program enables us to produce these mature, trophy
class animals for the hunting experience of a life time.
A three day hunt, one on one guide
attention, and accommodations second to none
should provide a hunting experience to be
treasured for a long, long time.
The 2005 hunting season was our first season
to commercially hunt the ranch. We had some
outstanding bucks taken including the 193"
monster shown above. We had another great
hunting season in 2006, with several trophy
bucks taken by our hunters. The age class
and superior genetics of the bucks we'll be
hunting in 2007 season is sure to make this
year a productive one for our clients. We
expect to take dozens of bucks in the
160"-200" B&C plus classes this fall. As
with any well managed operation, our
openings for hunts this season are limited,
so early booking is encouraged.
