Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting
 Diamond D Whitetail Ranch is a premier Hunting Presence. Located in Central West Texas and conducive to some of the best hunting and largest whitetails in the state. A top managed breeding facility has enabled us to stock 200 inch + B&C Bucks throughout the ranch. These bucks are in deep canyons, along
rim rock and some of the roughest terrain around. The stress level on these deer are held to a minimum and the best supplemental feeding program year around enables us to present these trophy animals for the hunting experience of a life time. A three day hunt, one on one guide attention, and accommodations second to none should provide a hunting and harvesting experience to be treasured for a long, long time.
The 2005 hunting season was our first season to commercially hunt the
ranch. We had some outstanding bucks taken including the 193" monster
shown at right. (Click on the picture to view a larger image.) We had
another great hunting season in 2009, with several trophy bucks taken by
our hunters in excess of 200" B&C. Our
openings for hunts that will take place during the 2010 season are
limited, so early booking is encouraged.
Our general whitetail season runs from October 2nd to February 15th.
All hunters must possess a valid Texas Hunting License.
All bucks taken will be scored at the ranch and the gross B&C score will be used to determine pricing of the hunt. Wounded animals will be
charged the same as a kill. Check in is at noon the first day of the hunt and check out is by
11:00pm on the last day of the hunt.
The booking fee must be paid in advance and is required to reserve your hunting dates. All hunts must be paid
for in full by no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled hunt date.
2010 Whitetail Hunts
All of our hunts are for 3 days and fully guided.
This is a trophy hunt for 130" to 190" plus whitetails. Hunts start at $2500 for a 130" whitetail buck. For all bucks harvested over 130", the following trophy fee applies. For every inch over 130", add $100 per inch to the base hunt price of $2500. Example:A 160" buck will be charged as follows - 160" minus base 130" score equals 30" of additional trophy fee. 30" times $100 equals $3000 trophy fee in addition to the base price of $2500 for the hunt, so your 160" Trophy has a cost of $5500. Our trophy fee schedule stays the same even on 180" - 190" bucks.
Hunters should expect to see 20 - 30 Trophy Bucks per day. This is a "No Frills Hunt." Lodging & Meals are not included. Booking Fee is $1000 and applies to the total cost of your hunt.
